a. DNA polymerase I fills the gap between okazaki fragments and it also proofreads fro the mistakes. So, if DNA pol I is mutated then the gaps between the okazaki fragments will not be filled and there will be errors in replication.

b. If topoisomerase is mutated then there will be no over wounding and underwinding of DNA. There will be no DNA repair and DNA replication as well as transcription would come to a halt.

c. It lays nucleotide in 5'-3' direction.
