Explain why we study public policy. How do public policy and politics influence each other?

Public policies are the base for governmental policies. Public policies helps in studying the effect of laws on public and how these laws are to made or modified. Public policies act as guidance to the government in regulating and making the laws and hence the study of these policies is very important . They are even provided as a subject for law makers so that they understand what is the situation of the country and what needs to be done Public policy is the base for many laws and the government influences and changes these public policies.Public policy influence the laws and the way they are formulated and the government which is responsible for these laws has the right to modify these public policies .  Hence both of them depend on each other and are influenced by each other.
