1000 genome project is run by collaboration of US, UK and China and Germany to produce all the variation present in the genome of human that will help in the medical research. The variation in the human genome include SNP, structural variant and haplotype context.

This statment means that modern human have originated from the Naenderthan man . In the year, 2013, the genome sequencing of Neanderthals have completed, it show that it have similarities with present day human. The Neanderthal were present in African, but modern humans have migrated to other parts of the World and in total they contain 20 percent of Neanderthals genome.
