Use Slater's rule to calculate the shielding by n= 1 and n= 2 electrons for n= 3 electrons. Then using the rule

Z​​​​effective = Z - shielding (Z​​​​​​effective : effective nuclear charge and Z : atomic number of atoms) calculate the effective nuclear charge for both Ar and Kr . For detailed answer please follow the uploaded images.
