Biofilm is a complex community of microscopic organisms are found on the surfaces of interfaces. Mushrooms are a complex multicellular organism forms large fruiting bodies, knows as fungi. It is generally found on soil, plant material rather than in sea/freshwater.  In conclusion, Mushrooms or biofilms are a complex form of a living microorganism (bacteria, fungi, protozoa etc) and produce a large community.
