A patient has drooping upper eyelids and is unable to raise them, determine the muscles affected and what nerve(s) may be involved.
Drooping of upper eyelid is termed as Ptosis.
Muscles and nerves involved:
• Oculomotor nerve for levator palpebrae superioris
• Sympathetic nerves for superior tarsal muscle
