  • A single gene can be acted upon by different RNA polymerases but not many genes by single RNA polymerase. Thus option b is incorrect.
  • Transcription and translation are not  be coupled in eukaryotes because transcription takes place in nucleus and translation takes place in cytoplasm . So, option c is also incorrect.
  • RNA polymerase binds to promoter along with certain transcription factors in the eukaryotes. So, option d is incorrect.
  • Regulatory elements are present even 1000kb away from the transcription site. Hence option e is also incorrect.
  • Both the strands in the DNA can be transcribed to produce different RNA thus different protein. Whichever strand can be  used as template strand and the opposite strand is non template strand.
  • Hence option A is true.
