1) 1-hexanol

In the given alcohols, 1-hexanol is not soluble in water. This is because it has cyclohexyl group as a more hydrophobic group while other alcohols have lesser hydrophobic groups.

2) butanol

The melting point of tertiary butanol is 25-26°C. Therefore, this compound is solid at 20-25°C (Room temperature). Thus, among these, tertiary butanol is not liquid at room temperature.
