Herpes Simplex Virus-1 causes cold sores around lips.It occurs a number of times in an individual as the organism lies dormant in the host and whenever it gets activated it causes cold sores.It infection reoccur mainly due to stress,fatigue,some hormonal changes in body,fever,etc.
