It is very necessary for the researchers to avoid ethnocentrism because it leads us to false assumptions and perception about other culture and the differences between the two cultures.
Due to ethnocentrism we form generalizations about other people culture and customs. It also develops the sense that our culture us the central culture and due to it we can misjudge people from other culture.
Hence, it is necessary that researchers do not make any prior judgement about other culture and be open minded.
Cultural relativism refers to the concept which relate costume, values, beliefs from perspective of other culture.
Moral ethics and values are principals accepted globally and these values govern the daily life of people. Moral values and ethics are very important in order to maintain hormone honour and unity in our culture and society. Cultural relativist widely accepts these norms and ethics as the universal norm because these norms are and innate virtues of the human being.
