  • Organ printing is the method of developing artificial organs constructed using a printable device in its 3D structure. The main application is organ transplantation. At present the problem we face with the organ transplantation method is that you need to have a donor with matching organs and you must take immunosuppressent drugs for the rest of your life. But with organ printing the whole thing change. But the main challenge researchers face is that :
  • the vast network of blood vessels that carry blood in and out of an organ is really difficult to create.
  • The choice of the is stem cell which can form scaffold and form organs. The limitation of the source is one main challenge faced in 3D organ printing.
  • The bioprinter should be of high resolution and of high speed
  • The cost of production is so high that ordinary people cannot afford it.
