Ans -1. Cell division as the name suggests is the division of a single cell into two or more daughter cells. It is of two types:
a. Mitotic or equational division
b.Meiosis or reductional division
Ans-2. A multicellular oragnism goes from a single cell to a multicellular being through mitotic division which forms daughter cells identical to parent cell.
Ans -3. At the time of DNA replication chromosome duplicates forming copies of itself called sister chromatids. The sister chromatids are attached to a point called centromere. Spindle fiber attaches to centromere only at the time of cell division. Chromatin is a condensed form of chromosome consisting of DNA and proteins only , that helps in the packaging of DNA. Genome is defined as the entire set of genetic information which are required for the normal functioning of an organism .
