Answer #1

Organ Transplantation refers to the procedure of removing the organs from one body (Donor) and replacing it with the worn-out part of the other body (Recipient). The Donor and the Recipient may be at the same place nor organs of the donor may be at the far of place from the needed patient. But the smooth transplantation process is very essential in order to replace the worn out organs. Recent Statistics reveals the fact that the as of Feb 2019, 1,20,000 patients are waiting for the life saving organ donation.

The Uniform Anatomical Gift Act of 1987 (UAGA) was followed in various states of US and strictly speeds up the medical program of all medical officers in order to determine and analysis the need of organ transplantation especially transplanting the tissues of cadaveric organs. This was the urgent and essential need as of now in current situation. But due to the scarcity and also the unwillingness of the parents of the donors to donate such type tissues of various organs.

Due to shortage of such organ tissues transplantation, many unauthorized transplantation took place in the past five years and many patients who got new organs which was replaced in their body parts, got tumor sensation. Which slow downed their life to the extreme critical situation. Then in 2006 UAGA has revised the policy and explained the fact that the without proper consent from the donor side, the organ transplantation should not be carried out at any cost. Let us sum up the following factors by considering the above mentioned key facts.

1) As already stated previously, UAGA Act clearly states the medical condition which hinders the increase of transplantation. Tissues of cadaveric organs are not properly channelized in to the path of mobility between donors and the recipient.

2) The probability of success is not at all the permanent factor in determining the negative aspects of the organ donation. For example the though the duration of transplanting time is quite long, the procedure of getting approval becomes very ineffective and fails to save the life. The probability of getting life saved is very less in USA. As 22 people die every year . But the guardians of such died people should come forward to donate organs. If not so 8,000 people will die due to reluctant of donors wish.

3) Geographic location and Waiting time are one among the critical factors here. The duration of transplantation is very less. Doctors will pay the attention for transplantation when the organ supply is quickly reach the destination within short stipulated time. But UAGA regulates the procedures for quick mobility of organ supply. Even State to State organ supply is also coming into existence.

4) Family Status, Age and Ability to pay are also the vital and very significant factors which decides the poor situation of the organ transplantation. The Economically weaker section people always approves for the transplantation. But religious thought and the Age factors restrict them to involve in this noble cause. However after creating huge awareness regarding transplantation, The cause and effect of transplantation gained momentum each and every year. Secondly, The Ability to pay for the donors is purely voluntarily one because many guardians are not willing to get compensation for the organ donation. Though many rich beneficiaries are ready to pay mass amount for organ transplantation.

5) Finally the behavioral causes of organ failure depicts the picture of critical situation of not saving the life in all the time. In USA Trust like American Kidney Fund Trust are helping the organ transplantation and the federal government introduces the scheme of providing tax incentive to the organ donors. But the Financial exploitation of giving false promise to compensate heavy money for donors and Kidnapping the ignorant donors by mafia gang makes the system to get failure. Federal Government acts as a watch dog to monitor the irregularities prevailing in the organ transplantation.
