Explain how viral mRNA with introns intact are exported outside to cytoplasm
Answer-
Majorly in complex retrovirus as HIV-1 virus which encode a protein called Rev. This protein Rev bind to specific DNA sequences element called RRE and initiates the export of intron attached with viral mRNA. Besides in normal retrovirus, a cellular protein called TAP binds to cis acting element and initiates the export of viral mRNA.
