You are designing a business in which you will host companies’ websites. What issues can you see as single points of failure? List the resources that could be involved. State ways to overcome their being single points of failure.

Hosting is required because , the companies website is visible in the internet only if it is hosted.For the purpose of hosting a website we should have a working server.When we host a website we get features like database,email accounts,files upload using FTP etc..

• The issues that responsible for single points of failure is as follows :
• The main issue is that the website may not available for 24/7.
• Using low speed server , here access time will increase.
• Using  a server with very low bandwidth , here many users cannot access the website simultaneously .Here the website fails to deliver contents to users.
• If the website is hosted under a shared hosting. Here, many website will be stored in a single server.Thus we get only small bandwidth,security, speed etc and the website fails when every thing is overloaded.
• Real time changes are not reflected on the website.
• The website is not responsive .
• Virus attacks may cause the website to fail and higher data loss.
• Using very old security mechanisms

• Ways to overcome the failure is as follows :
• ​​​​​​​Always use a dedicated server for hosting the site.Dedicated server is a server that contains only one website.Here overloading of requests may get reduced.
• Select a server with high speed.Thus we get less access time.Therefore no need to wait for the response from the server.
• Use modern optimization technologies.
• Choose a server with maximum or needed bandwidth , never compromise on this.
• Never choose a free server , this may not offer 24/7 access.Also it is not secure
• Always update your security tools.
• Avoid all loopholes.
• Make the website responsible.
• It should be rendered by all browsers and all display sizes.
