Answer #1

a. γ‐glutamyltranspeptidase- catalyzes the transfer of the glutamyl moiety to peptidoglycan.

b. Sortase crosslinks individual pilin monomers and ultimately joins the resulting covalent polymer to the cell-wall peptidoglycan in S. pyrogens.

c. InlA (Internalin) harbors an LPTTG motif and is anchored covalently by the sortase SrtA to meso-diaminopimelic acid residues of the peptidoglycan
