In this case, a hypertonic environment refers to a more concentrated environment (solute) outside the cell. In other words, there is more solute in the extracellular environment and less solute inside the cell. According with the osmosis principle, the water will flow from the less concentrated environment to the more concentrated environment. So, in this case, the water will flow from inside the cell to the extra cellular environment.
