VCC 5.0V RB1 RC 1120Ω Vo C1 Q1 2N3904 1F Vi C2 1Vpk 1kHz 0° RB2 1F RE 400Ω RG 35Ω

I have constructed this NPN Common-Emitter circuit in multisim and am asked to "Perform AC Simulation to obtain Av(gain), Ri, and Ro". How could I do that? Please list out the steps/instructions to do so.

STEP 1

Design the circuit.

STEP 2 (Not mandatory )

input Vs output waveform

Output on Channel B (Blue Waveform)

Input on Channel A(Red Waveform)

GAIN

step 1

Go to AC analysis

Simulate->AC analysis

Now for gain Use add expression to Get V(6) /V(1) using manual keyboard

AND THEN CLICK ON SIMULATE

NOW LEFT CLICK ON CURSOR AND SELECT

Go to next Y MAX Y>=

And then check the value on cursor

y2 will gain in dB =21.60 dB

PART 2

Input and output impedence

Use multimeter

Connect two pins to input and ground .

Select resistance And simulate the circuit (Switch on Green button)

Input resistance
