Answer #1

The formula Q = n x C x ∆T represents the heat q required to bring about a ∆T difference in temperature of one mole of any matter. The constant C here is called the molar heat capacity of the body.

QTotal = QKr + QN2 + QN2O

QTotal = (nKr x CKr x ∆TKr ) + ( nN2 x CN2 x ∆TN2 ) + ( nN2O x CN2O x ∆TN2O )

QTotal = ( 1 x 20.8 J/mol K x 293.48 K ) + ( 1 x 29.1 J/mol K x 287.64 K ) + ( 1 x 40.5 J/mol K x 283.52 K )

QTotal = 6104.38 J + 8370.32 J + 11482.56 J

QTotal = 28957.26 J

QTotal = 25.96 KJ
