Answer 2: Obligate anaerobes are those microbes which survive exclusively in the absence of oxygen and presence of oxygen is lethal for them. The H2O-producing phototroph are obligate aerobes which require oxygen for their growth and H2S-using phototrohps are those microbes which do not require oxygen for their survival.

Hence, Bacterium C, which is an obligate anaerobe, will grow easily with H2S-using phototroph as the limitation of oxygen will suit its survival.
