Enzymes are made up of Protein(Amino acids)

It acts as a catalyst, which means it increases the speed of chemical reaction in the body. There are many enzymes in the digestive system which helps in digestion.

There are mainly 6 types of enzyme which are

1. Hydrolases

2. Oxidoreductases

3. Transferases

4.Ligases

5. Hydrolases

6. Lyases

Approximately a human body has 1300 enzymes.
