Drug information question: Does having a gastric bypass procedure change the absorption of tacrolimus? I need an answer and the link of where you found the answer. I believe there should be an answer in pubmed, please help me

Being obese is a widespread major health threat in most of the societies. To overcome these threats, gastric bypass surgery offers a highly effective mode of treatment for the morbidity obese patients. It is important to note that the effect of obesity on pharmacokinetics independent of the bypass surgery, because it leads to a dramatic loss in body mass over a short period of time. Recent studies shows that, the increase in stomach pH may adversely impact the absorption of drugs that are dependent on an acidic environment for solubility and absorption. An alteration in gastric pH and surface area of the stomach leads to decrease effects on drug absorption.
