Ans 1- plasma is the fourth state of matter after solid ,liquid ,gas.most of the universe the sun stars etc are made up of it.

It is formed by ionization at extremely high temperature .

Example -ice when heated form water which further heated form gas or steam if is further heated at high temperature the molecules of water ionize to form oxygen and hydrogen atoms which are freely roaming .

With further heating they ionize further ,leaving behind only positively charged ions whereas the negatively charged ions are escaped away .these are plasma .at high temperature any gas can be converted to plasma ,example sun stars,northern lights,neon gas etc.

And 2 plasma waste converter convert municipal solid waste into energy and some useful product .

In conventional incineration very large amount of air or oxygen is used to burn the waste .conventional incinerator produce a lot of pollutants leaving behind large amount of ash and energy .this energy and heat generated by combustion is used to run turbines and generate electricity .

Plasma waste converter very small amount of air is used to actually break the molecules that is converting them to ions at high temperature and does not burn them like in combustion in traditional converter.they produce clean fuel similar to natural gas.hence there is a difference in chemical rxn.as ionization occurs

And 3 plasma waste converter can have huge impact on society as
