The immunization schedule is recommended by CDC for 0 to 18 years of age and it includes the vaccination of Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, DTP, Haemophilus influenza, Pneumococcal conjugate, poliovirus, influenza, MMR, varicella, Hepatitis A, Meningococcal, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, HPV, Meningococcal B, the Pneumococcal polysaccharide. The immunization schedule is changed by CDC and lastly revised in 2018. some of the high-risk medications in elderly adult include Lorazepam, aspirin, Alpha 1 blockers, Nifedipine, Amiodarone, Carbinoxamine, chlorpheniramine, Metoclopramide, Clonidine, diazepam, phenobarbital, Thioridazine, ibuprofen, indomethacin as per BEERS list. some of the considerations to be made in assessing the adolescent patient includes Health screening should be done for sexually transmitted disease, viral infection, cancer screening, eating behavior and their emotional condition. Health education should be given on employment, activities, diet habits, and counseling for depression and suicidal activities. Focus on their safety such as violence and drug abuse.
