An organization holding a charity event sold raffle tickets for 50% off last week. this week, it changed the offer: Instead of discounting tickets, it offered buyers a 60% bonus (e.g., for every 10 tickets purchased, buyers get 6 more tickets free). If raffle tickets normally sell for $10 each and a person wishes to buy $10 in raffle tickets, is the 60% bonus offer better? Why or why not?

Price of the ticket = $10

Assume income = $100

With 50% off, Price becomes = $5

With $5 as the price, consumer would buy 20 tickets.

With 60% bonus,

With $100 consumer can buy, 10 tickets over which 6 is free which makes total of 16 tickets.

Thus without bonus, consumer can buy 20 tickets and with bonus they can buy 16 tickets. Thus bonus is not better.
