1. Telemedicine is the new health technology where medical consultancy and information is provided over electronic communication like telephones, mobile or video calling services.

I believe that telemedicine has greater number of benefits than disadvantages. Telemedicine helps to increase the accessibility to healthcare services. It provides expert advice and consultation from specialist medical staff which would not have been possible otherwise. It also helps integration of local health workers in treatment and care. It saves time and money.

2. Disadvantages of telemedicine include that it might not be available at every healthcare centre. Telemedicine also requires good connectivity over phone or internet which might be challege for remote places. In telemedicine practice the doctor is not able to physically examine the patient which may lead to missing of important disease signs and symptoms resulting in diagnosis.

3. Yes I would make use of telehealth when required. Telehealth can be used in cases when you can not go to a hospital, clinic or the healthcare setup due work, traffic, transportation problems or physical limitations.
