Answer #1

1.Set your multi-meter to the highest resistance range available. The resistance function is usually denoted by the unit symbol for resistance the Greek letter omega (Ω) or sometimes by the word ohm.take one probe from COM and other from V .Touch the two test probes of your meter together .When you do this , the meter should register 0  resistance. this  shows there is no resistance. if this is not zero ,the value showing is zero error. we should subtract this value in remaining experiments

Now place a resistance in between two probes and find out value of resistance from reading(subtract if any error is there).

2. while we are doing experiments ,chances for mistakes are more . if we draw a graph from it , it might not be accurate.

in this case if you are getting a straight line you can choose any two points for finding slope(resistance),since for straight line slope is constant.

if you are not getting straight line , in my opinion u should go for taking multiple slopes from different parts of graph and take mean of all ,that will give you almost accurate slope

thank you

I need help for numbers 1 and 3. For number one I measured the height of the track at angle. One of the heights was .082m. hypotenuse 1.013m. I did sin^-1(.082/1.013) and got 4.64 degrees. I used a sensor and aquired data for change in v and t as a glider fell down the track. I calculated the acceleration at that height and angle as -10.18 m/s^2. final V was 1.48, initial V .687. final t=.0675, initial t= .1454. For...
