Role of animals/pets in ethnic group

When we are in home country we can practice our own lifestyle be it with food,culture or even pets.But outside our country there are numerous things to be considered other than climate,religion,currency.One such thing is pets.One such example is dogs.Dogs are considered to be ":Mans best friend" in US and UK.But in in Islam majority countries,these are considered to be dirty and unhygenicThey touch only if they have a chance to wash their hands immediately after touching.Japan people on the other hand treat dogs like humans and they dress them up like humans.Dogs are not just the examples.In India Cows are considered to be sacred and gods,but in Argentina Beef is considered to be pride which is a part of tradition as well.So it is better to have good understanding of specific values and cultures of different countries to avoid misunderstanding especially when working in other countries and culture.So in various cultures animals are treated differently.In some countries they are treated as pets,Gods,even used as meat as a part of tradition.
