Answer #1

Qualitative research helps to understand the concepts, understanding other than a number to describe various characteristics.

The authors Deborab and Benjamin conducted a study on evaluative criteria for qualitative research in health care :

The other ways researcher bias may be minimised by different strategies depending on the paradigm grounding the work are:

# replacing the research questions which implies the right answer with which it focus on samples exact point of view. This type of remedy can be implemented to avoid the friendliness bias.

# focusing on unconditional positive regard by phrasing of questions to foster to say OK to an answer in which it is not socially Desirable.

# maintain the stance of neutrality, limiting reinforcement of moderator to positive responded feedback.

# reevaluation of the respondents impressions and the very challenging preexisting assumptions and hypotheses.

# researchers must move towards cultural relativism by being effectively cognizant of their own culture.

# researchers must avoid summarising what the respondents said in their own words and not to take more further what ever is verbalized.

Thus the qualitative research bias can be minimised if the researchers are thorough about what to look for and how to manage it.

The limitations of qualitative research the scholars need to be aware of are :

# it is a time consuming process

# the results cannot be verified again as this is mostly open ended.

# it requires the working intensive process of analysing.

# it requires well experienced researchers to obtain the targeted data from the group of samples.

# it is tough to be investigating casualty between the various research phenomena.

# it requires thoughtful planning to ensure accurate results as these cannot be solved mathematically.

The additional implications of this article by Cohen and crab tree are :

# it has been successfully assimilated into the clinical research community.

# helps to delivering the innovative contributions.

# caters Further research studies to be catered by synthesis and publication.
