I am running a shapiro test in rstudio and the answer that it is returning doesn't make any sense. What am I doing wrong?
>shapiro.test(data1$maxfwt)
W= 0.88286, p-value= 1.911e-08
There are about 100 values in the dataset and some of them are the same. If I run any of the columns in the dataset I get a similar result with an e- in the p-value.
TOPIC: Shapiro test to check the Normailty of a dataset.

For the same reason,when you run any of the columns in the dataset,the p-value comes very very small,indicating there is not sufficient evidence to support the Normality of the given data set.

My answer is supposed to look like the table above, but I am

Extra Credit: ELISA tests are used to screen donated blood for the presence of the AIDS virus. The test actually detects antibodies, substances that the body produces when the virus is present. When antibodies are present, ELISA is positive with probability about 0.997 and negative with probability about 0.003. When...
Hi. I am taking a course in college level statistics. I have a problem with an assignment in the "Sampling Distribution" chapter. It reads: Blood potassium levels*. Judy's doctor is concerned that she may have hypokalemia (low potassium in her blood, measured in millimoles per liter, mmol/l). There is variation both in the actual potassium level and in the blood test that measures the level. Judy's measured potassium level varies according to the Normal distribution with mean (μ) = 3.8...
