The main aim of the civil rights movement is to give equal rights to the African American people like that of other Americans. During the Civil rights movement, Court was more effective as the first action was taken by the court itself as it undermines the perspective of Jim Crow. Jim said that the African American would never get the rights to be equal like that of American and would always be under the white skinned people as their slaves and would remain poor. So, the action taken by the Supreme Court was a major victory for the civil rights movement.
