On a scale of 1 to 7, 1000 individuals voted regarding how concerned they are about the effect of gasoline emissions on global warming and about global warming in general. Here, 1 depicts that gasoline emissions had very little to contribute to global warming while 7 would indicate the other extreme that gasoline emissions had very high impact on global warming. Between 1-7, any other position would indicate intermediate belief in ascending order. Similarly, 1 would indicate little worry about global warming and 7 high worry about it for the second question. An average of 4.62 indicates that most people had a greater than 4 rating that gasoline emissions had an effect on global warming indicating that more people believe it to have a high effect (greater than 4) than those who think it has a low effect. An average of 4.88 for worry about global warming also shows high worry about it for majority out of the sample of 1000.
