RISK FACTORS :

1. Polyhydramnios : Polyhydramnios is a condition where the liquor amnii is more than 2000ml.

Risk factors : Multiple pregnancy, Maternal diabetes.

2. Intrauterine growth restriction : It is a condition where the fetus is unable to achieve normal weight.

Risk factors : Maternal anemia, Maternal smoking and alcohol intake

3. Oligohydramnios : It is a condition in which the liquor amnii is less than 200ml, it is also a very rare condition.

Risk factors : Maternal hypertension, maternal diabetes mellitus.

4. Chromosomal abnormalities : It is a condition due to a missing chromosomal DNA.

Risk factors : Maternal smoking, elderly mothers.
