Martial arts experts know that the force needed to break several boards or bricks is based much more on speed than the weight of a hand or foot. This is why children (with training) can often break more boards than untrained adults. The physics formula for kinetic energy (shown below as KE) explains this phenomenon:

In this formula, m equals the mass of an object (in kilograms), and v is the velocity in meters per second (measured as a change in distance over time). Because the velocity is squared, it is much more important in determining how much kinetic energy you produce! Your job is to create a VB application that allows the user to enter an object’s mass and velocity and then displays the object’s kinetic energy. The application should have a function named KineticEnergy that accepts a moving object’s mass (in kilograms) and velocity (in meters per second) as arguments. The function should return the object’s level of kinetic energy.
