What type of covalent bond between amino acid side chains functions in maintaining a polypeptide's specific tertiary structure?

A) Disulfide bond

Other bonds such as ionic bond, hydrogen bond and hydrophobic interaction also involved in making tertiary structure of protein. But these are non covalent bonds. One special type of covalent bond that can contribute to tertiary structure is the disulfide bond.
