How the lenses of social science and natural science relate to the topic of air pollution I similar and different ways?
In social science lens, we usually think about the cause of air pollution. The steps which government is taking to ensure good air quality. The rising air pollution and its effects on the population. As per the latest surveys, 1 out of 50 deaths is caused by poor air quality as it alleviate the breathing problem. The social science lens relates people with the environment.
In natural science lens, we thing about the reasons for rising air pollution and what we can do to control it. For example - Some of the most polluted countries in the world are installing vertical gardens in congested areas and big and huge air purifiers to clear up the air and improve the air quality index. There are plants which have better absorbing capacity than other and these plants can help in better air quality.
The difference between social science and natural science is that natural science leads with proved theories and evidence like what has been proved by natural science to be true is being accepted by social science. On the other hand, social science has its own doubts and disbeliefs like who is responsible for air pollution.
Now if natural science proves that CO2 emission is responsible for air pollution then social science will take steps to reduce emission of CO2.
