Lyme disease is mainly caused by the bacteria borrelia burgdoferi which is mainly carried by deer ticks this is transfered to the person when the tics will bite the person

Symptoms may include

Treatment for Lyme disease May include treatment of general symptoms like Erythema migran rash with oral antibiotics like amoxicillin cefuroxime for 14-21 days it may decrease the complication of the disease

When the Symptoms moves from its location to other sites in the body and starts involving nerves but not the nerves of brain and spinal cord oral and iv Antibiotics can be used

When the symptoms may got worsen (involving brain and spinal cord :- meningitis) the iv antibiotics should be used

Post Lyme disease symptoms may occur in some patients like pain fatigue antibiotics will not do any help with this situation and some patients may also experience post Lyme disease arthritis it can be improved by oral antibiotics for 28 days iv antibiotic are only used when oral antibiotics are not helpful.

Prevention of Lyme disease can be done by wearing long pants long sleeve shirt

• Making your yard free of ticks
• Using 10%DEET as a infect replant
• Don't assume that if one person got infected than he or she got life time immunity
• Remove the ticks with tweezers and contact to the physician
