Food is the most important part of one's life.The technology has overtaken the naturality in all things which we use.Food industry for its profits has substituted this with certain artificial agents and preservatives making humans prone for diseases .The most common diseases among them is the cardiovascular disease. The nutrient in food comprises of fats one among them naturally. The fact is, it serves as energy store.It can be categorized to saturated (unhealthy) and unsaturated(healthy) fats.

The saturated fats are derived from animal and its products which can decrease the good cholesterol (HDL) and increase the bad cholesterol (LDL).This level is not good for health and makes an individual prone for heart disease.

The unsaturated fats like monounsaturated(MUFA), polyunsaturated (PUFA) fatty acids,omega 3 fatty acids which can increase the good cholesterol and decrease the bad cholesterol and thus decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease.
