Please make some annotations of this passage of Singer in Equality for animals. ''Sometimes people point to the fact that animals eat each other in order to make a slightly different point. This fact suggests, they think, not that animals deserve to be eaten, but rather that there is a natural law according to which the stronger prey upon the weaker, a kind of Darwinian 'survival of the fittest' in which by eating animals we are merely playing our part.''

This passage describes about the survival plan according to Darwinian principles.Survival is possible only when a stronger over takes upon a weaker one.The moral equality of a person can be maintained but both cannot be same .One act is equalized by other act.In simple the moral equality has to be exercised in all aspects.
