while performing the abortion, the fetus may be expelled with life and may survive for several hours, so it is called partial birth abortion. it is performed by an abortionist by pulling out the feet through the cervix by opening the womb and break the skull of the fetus and remove the skull to kill.

it is controversial because the law suggests that, performing the partial-birth abortion is legal if the mother's life is endangered with the current pregnancy or any physical disorder or injury. but the majority of partial- birth abortion-performing on fifth or sixth month of pregnancy on the healthy fetus of healthy mothers.(thus ,it become illegal)
