Answer #1

cultural social environment support or hinder achieving planned goals:

  1. when culture differences or negativity is present within the organisation, the employees may feel undervalued, unimportant or ignored because of which employees lack enthusiasm to do better work.
  2. undervalued employees have poor performance and make feel like they don't want to resume duty, they may fail to achieve goals, and often display disrespect towards organisation.
  3. providing positive reinforcement involves sharing of information and providing regular feedback. this enables employees to feel valued. they begin to take ownership and want to do well.

3 techniques for positive work relationships:

  1. schedule time to build relationships: devote portion of the day toward relation building even if its just 5mins.        for eg. you can have lunch break together with colleagues with good rapo. or ask a colleague out for a quick cup of coffee.
  2. Appreciate others: Genuinely compliment the people around you when they do something well. may be it a junior, senior, a manager or cleaner. This will open the door to great work relationships.
  3. Be positive: Focus on being positive. positivity is attractive and contagious. and it will help strengthen your relationships with your colleagues. no one wants to be around someone who's negative all the time.

Answer #2

Strong workplace relationships play a major role in whether a dental clinic can consistently meet its planned outcomes. In a diverse setting such as One Dental, cultural awareness can be a real strength when managed well. When team members respect different communication styles and cultural perspectives, collaboration improves and patient care becomes more efficient. However, if cultural differences are ignored, misunderstandings and tension can arise, which may affect workflow, morale, and overall performance.

Clear and respectful communication is another critical factor. Regular handovers, open discussions, and constructive feedback help ensure everyone is aligned with daily goals. In contrast, poor communication or favouritism within teams can create confusion, reduce trust, and slow decision-making. The social environment also matters. Teams that feel appreciated and included are more motivated to take responsibility and support one another during busy periods, while a negative atmosphere often leads to disengagement and reduced productivity.

Building positive relationships starts with trust. Using an approachable interpersonal style, actively listening, and showing cultural sensitivity helps team members feel valued. Consulting staff on changes and encouraging input builds confidence and shared ownership. Clinics recognised locally, such as Burwood Diamond Dental, demonstrate how respectful leadership and teamwork contribute to consistent standards of care; interested readers can learn more through local listings. Ultimately, positive relationships create a stable foundation for both staff wellbeing and clinic success.
