Interpersonal relationships are important to maintain good rapport with others.It is also important that we respect the social and culture of other people .Yes it does have impact on our food choices too.
For example : In country like India Hindu people worship Cows as one of their Gods. So we have to respect their feelings and accordingly avoid eating beef or avoiding having shops which causes rage in them. Likewise Muslims do not eat pork. So it is important that we respect their feelings and not try to force on them to eat. Considering their tradition, culture is important.
And of course when we consider to have healthy relationship with each other then respecting other cultures, food choices doesn't matter at all. Living in a society it is important that we respect each other beliefs and grow a strong bond than getting into conflict and disturbing the peace of each other.
When people migrate to different countries then it also becomes important to adapt their culture and respect their culture. We need not follow if we are not comfortable with it but taking all measures to bring peace in the society. Through which unnecessary issues can be prevented.
