We have selected an aviation company name as Global Aviation Services – which engaged in GSE maintenance in and around airport.

There was a grievance raised by one of the employees, complaining that he is not getting adequate operational facility for executing the GSE maintenance in and around the airport. Because of this reason, the employees are not happy and they have raised the grievances to the management of the Global Aviation Services organization.

  • The issue(s) involved in the grievance: the issue involved in the grievance is that the ground employees are not getting adequate facility and tools for executing the GSE maintenance work at the airport. The key issue is lack of facility and infrastructure for executing the maintenance work at the airport.
  • The procedure by which the grievance was handled : the procedure by which the employee grievances was handled by the management team was such that management have a joint review with the team of employee and tried to understand the concern raised by the employees. The management reviewed the issues of the grievances and understand the key gaps in the facilities and support system for the employees. And agreed for improving the gaps, so that employees will be able to execute their work satisfactorily.
  • The outcome: the management team was able to manage the grievance and took a decision to improve the issues raised by employees in the grievances and management will be able to execute the improvement action in couple of weeks time. This will satisfy employees and the working environment will be improved as per employee expectation.
  • Reasons given for the outcome: the reason given for outcome is that there are some gaps which were lacking in the facilities and support system, hence these improvements are needed so that employees can execute their works satisfactorily.
