The diameter of the nucleus is in the range of 1.75 fm = 1.75 x 10-15 m for hydrogen (the diameter of a single proton) to about 15 x 10-15 m for the heaviest atoms, such as uranium.Protons and neutrons are bound together to form a nucleus by the nuclear force.

The order of magnitude of nuclear diameter is 1 fermi which is  10-15 m (C)
