The three branches of immune system are :

1. Innate immunity: It is the kind of immunity which is present from birth and is the first line of defense against pathogens. It is non specific in nature.

2. Humoral immunity( acquired immunity) : it is the immunity which is provided by the molecules found in extracellular fluid(blood,lymph) like antibodies, complement proteins.

3. Cell mediated immunity ( acquired immunity) : it is the immunity provided by cells such as B cells and T cells against the pathogens.
