Over the years management theorists said/ thought of Deming's ideas as below:

• System has high contribution in failure: Over the years management theorists said/thought of Deming’s ideas is that system /process deficiency are key contributor for the failures in the organization rather than the employee. The major failures in the organization are mainly due to the issues in the system or process in the organization and management is responsible for deficiency in the system/process. The system/process needs to be improving to improve the quality in the organization.
• Employee has very low contribution in failure: As per Deming’s idea/principle, employees are not significant contributor for the failures in the organization OR for poor quality in the organization. The employees have very low role for the poor quality of the organization. So employee should not be marked significant contributor by the management for the poor quality. Management need to understand the system and improves the system so that they can avoid the poor quality.
• System need to be strengthen for future success: System fault /weakness is the key contributor for the poor /low quality of the products in the organization. Hence the system /process need to be strengthening by the management so that they can improves the quality standards in the organization. Management need to focus on the system strengthen so that they can get better output in the future for the organization.

Initially management theorists /key people were not in line with the principle or ideas of Deming. But later these people were agree with the principles of Deming’s and were agree that it is the system fault that are causing the poor quality in the organization and not the employee.
