Emotional Intelligence is a stage where the person has a control over self-conduct. The person does not take decisions by getting influenced by emotions such as sudden happiness, anger, sadness etc. At all times they take rational decisions. Hence they do not let the emotions affect rational decision-making power.
The characteristics of an emotionally intelligent person are:
1. He does not take sudden unexpected decisions.
2. He performs a proper due diligence of the decision he is taking.
3. He talks in terms of numbers and thinks of each situation with practicality.
4. They know the perfect mix of emotions and intelligence and do not overdo one ingredient.
