(a) Discuss the appropriateness of using strategic, tactical or operational dashboards in this context. (10 marks)

(b) The management believes that the dashboard can be further improved by having more interactions to help users to explore data at different granularity. Propose one (1) or more filters to promote interactivity. (10 marks)

Strategic dashboard must ensure scalability, credibility and operability of data which can be transformed, enlarged, modified and changed with one tap to get good overview of analysis in real time.

This helps managers take wise effective decisions and not simply rely on gut or market dominated factors and thus helps them to leverage statistics and key emerging trends.

Dashboards will use graphs, piecharts, blocks, historical trends for analysis. Some of components of dashboard is shared below:
