Platelet-derived growth factor receptor A, PDGFRA alpha, is a receptor protein localized
and present in the transmembrane of the cell. The receptor contains an extracellular ligand binding domain
and an intracellular tyrosine kinase domain.
But it is given that if that protein is hydrophilic, it should reside in cytoplasm
since it is water loving protein.
hence option B is correct
