Cloud is being used for business like for payroll, or accounting or customer service or in an IT group environment with access for viewing invoices, creation of customer quotes etc
Also cloud runs by itself and doen't need any backup which is easy to manage, and has security and is available from anywhere hence cloud not being a mission critical use is a false statement.
